From the sleepy valley of Gilroy, California, Noah Hayes discovered through the wonders of the internet that people could make a living doing art. Quickly abandoning his dreams to attend Stanford and obtain a degree in chemistry, he traded Erlenmeyer flasks for spiral bound sketchbooks and was accepted into Ringling College of Art and Design's Computer Animation program. After freshman year, he switched his major to illustration, rekindling a childhood love for comics that would eventually land him his first job with BOOM! Studios' Goldie Vance. He now works on the Wet Hot American Summer OGN as well as other forthcoming projects.
In 2018, the Goldie Vance team was nominated for GLAAD's Outstanding Comic award.
He has also been featured in various galleries and zines such as:
Illest of Illustration (2014, 2015, 2016)
From Stairs to Stadiums (2015)
Best Season Ever: A 1D Artist Collab Coloring Book (2016)
Fortitudo: Born Perfect (2017)
In his free time, Noah cares for two maine coons, Alfred and Mathieu, and two pufferfish, Byron and Shelley. He also plays video games and hopes the world lasts long enough to see the next Star Wars film in theaters.
